Leighton Jones

Leighton Jones taught himself guitar and piano at 11 years old. He had a rare form of cancer and a lot of down time. He played keyboards throughout his bone marrow transplant soon after. His brother missed the 1988 Olympic games, he had a spot on the Judo team, to be his donor. 30 years later, Leighton is going to the Olympics instead.

With his soulful voice and funk pop style, Leighton has headlined around the world and supported legends including Bob Dylan, Joss Stone, Beverly Knight and Madonna. Known at the BBC as “The Welsh Stevie Wonder” He’s worked with DJs Spen, Paul Lyons and John Khan, written with Graham Gouldman, and Lorraine Lucas. Leighton is currently working on his next album with wil.i.am, Boy George and Paloma Faith home he wowed on The Voice.
