Parv

Parv is a UK rapper and songwriter raised on a council estate in Leigh Park, just eight miles outside the coastal city of Portsmouth. Growing up in one of the UK’s largest housing estates shaped his perspective and gave him the unfiltered honesty that runs through every bar he writes.

Facing challenges including mental health struggles and homelessness, Parv used music as his escape and outlet. Self-taught from the age of 14, he learned to write, record, and produce his own tracks, blending grime, UK hip-hop, R&B, and soul into a sound that’s both hard-hitting and deeply personal.

His debut album, Leigh Park, pays tribute to his roots and the people who shaped him, telling stories that are raw, relatable, and unafraid to confront reality. Songs like “Bullet” (featured on Love Island) and “Squinny” capture his signature balance of sharp lyricism and heartfelt vulnerability, earning him recognition from BBC Introducing, The News, and Link Up TV.

Parv is also a sought-after producer and songwriter, having penned tracks for artists across the UK.

He produced the song “Wannabe Famous” for the 2015 satirical horror film L.A. Slasher, which starred Eric Roberts, Scout Taylor-Compton, Dave Foley, Michael Madsen, and Betsy Russell.
